Round it Out was founded by an upcoming mental health therapist in the Washington, DC metro area who devotes her life to helping others find their inner happiness. She embodies what she teaches by making fitness, peace, spirituality, kindness, and fun a part of her personal life. She can be seen running alongside clients in races for support, teaching them weightlifting techniques and form in their gym, sharing a box of tissues during difficult times, or celebrating their successes as new goals are achieved.
Tracey graduated with honors with a Master’s of Science in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling with an emphasis in Crisis and Trauma Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Religious Studies from Tennessee Temple University. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society and the American Counseling Association. She works with adolescents and adults in individual, couple, and group settings to address a variety of relationship and lifestyle concerns including body image, depression, anxiety, life transitions, traumatic experiences, and much more.
“My passion is helping others and – while I am humbled by the chance to do that while practicing counseling in the office – my goal is to reach many more people in the community and throughout the world whom I may not get the privilege to meet in person. I believe that we are on this planet together to unite, support, and encourage each other. Building an environment of care and kindness so that personal growth and inspiration can occur could lead to a positive social change that others believed was impossible. It all starts with you believing in yourself and finding out what inspires and motivates you.” – Tracey Vazquez
